The Foundry Plant specializes in smelting gray iron, ductile iron and cast steel. It has state-of-the-art equipment, including a medium-frequency induction furnace (6 tons/pot, manufactured by ABB), a cast iron modification and spheroidizing station, a heat treatment furnace, and a station for tempering crane running wheels. The plant also contains a self-hardening compound mixer, a compound reclamation station, an OWD 4500 rotor cleaner and a model shop.
